The Bell Beneath
An Adventure Starter for Stonetop
After weeks of relentless rain, part of Shepherd’s Rise collapses, exposing a stone stair no one knew was there. That night, a bell begins ringing beneath the earth.
The Bell Beneath is a short ruin-delving Adventure Starter for Stonetop, in which the PCs descend beneath a familiar landmark to explore a long-buried ruin and follow the sound of the bell deeper underground. It is designed to drop easily into an ongoing campaign with minimal preparation.
Content warnings: prolonged heavy rain and flooding, landslide, cave-ins and tunnel collapse, confined underground spaces, physical injury and violence, human or animal remains.
