The Mighty Dodecahedron
It's a d6. Just better.
I started out using ordinary d6s, then I discovered the mighty dodecahedron.
These are 12-sided dice numbered 1 through 6 twice. Mathematically, they're still d6s. You have two 1s, two 2s, two 3s, and so on. They just happen to be shaped like d12s.
Why?
Because d12s are better.
Okay, maybe not better. But I like the way they roll, and a handful of d12s is just more fun to throw than a handful of little cubes.
Obviously none of this changes how Stonetop plays. They're still d6s. I just like them.
DoubleSix has been making them for years, and DodecaDice is another version I've found.
Do you need them?
Absolutely not.
Should you use them?
Obviously.
